A new batch of screenshots from Metro Exodus are out there now and they show us just how the Moscow of Metro Exodus has changed since we last saw it
A little more for Metro Exodus has seeped out there to entice us a bit more and get us further excited for the game. I mean, why else would these all be out there besides that? 4A Games has been working on it for a while now and I know I am excited to see where it all goes. I know I am not the only one out there, which is why we are bringing you a few more screenshots for Metro Exodus here today even though Deep Silver gave the exclusive “first” to a different site. Exclusives be damned and now we have more to look at here so you do not need to go searching around elsewhere.
Anyways, as you can see below the engine that is being used for Metro Exodus has had some vast improvements from the previous build we saw for Last Light. The level of detail is extremely high here for everything and we are yet another step closer to photorealism in our video games. You can see Artyom has a lot more detail to him and it will be something we will get to see in the game somehow even though it is still an FPS. That is just the start of it though as the real detail for Metro Exodus has to be in the world and environments we can see here. Not only are they more open, as we have been told the game will be, but the detail is even higher than we had before which is always a nice combination to have.
Have a look at the latest screenshots here for Metro Exodus so you do not need to keep taking my word for it. Each new tidbit seems to impress me more than the last and it looks like 4A Games is going to nail that depressive location and existence right on the head with the game. That is as long as the full version keeps up to par with what we are seeing in all of these updates leading up to the launch. I am sure they will, but we have seen it happen in other games before so I will keep my expectations in check for now.
How are you feeling after seeing the latest screenshots for Metro Exodus that we have here? Do you agree that the world looks beautiful even though it is supposed to be a depressing scene at the end of the day? Do you think we are going to get to see a lot of Artyom in full when we play the game or will it be reserved for scenes and a lot of the work lost for the majority of the game? Let us all know your thoughts down in the comments and then discuss. For more on Metro Exodus in any way, keep checking in here on the site. We will keep grabbing all that we can to keep you as informed as possible.
