Maid Of Sker is now hitting us in July as it looks like a slight delay has hit Maid Of Sker but for a fairly good reason
The June window for Maid Of Sker to launch looks to be no more. This is interesting as it was literally a month ago that we were talking about home Wales Interactive could be aiming for an end of June release for the game on the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. Now it looks like things going to be extended out a bit more with Maid Of Sker aiming at a July release now. When in July? That is still up to question as no real date is placed for it in the month either. I will guess it will be closer to the end of the month again to give the team a bit more padding on the time to hit a digital and physical release for the game.
While no real reason as to why Maid Of Sker is being pushed out a bit more, it is worth noting that one of the benefits the team is looking at is a simultaneous release for both physical and digital versions of the game. This leads me to believe that there was something wrong with Maid Of Sker on a technical side and they are just looking at a silver lining for the delay. Who know though? Well, the team would know but we just get to look for this title just a little bit later than expected. Who really care if it brings us the best possible experience at the end of the day?
Maid Of Sker — Suo Gân
Wales Interactive, the minds behind Don’t Knock Twice, The Bunker, and The Complex, are announcing that survival-horror title Maid Of Sker will now launch in July 2020 for Steam, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
Richard Pring, Game Director said, “The new date will enable Maid Of Sker to launch simultaneously across digital and physical platforms, whilst also allowing for the team to fine-tune the macabre horror in Maid Of Sker to its absolute-ly terrifying limits!”
Steeped in rich Welsh folklore, Maid Of Sker draws players back to 1898 to venture through the notoriously macabre Sker Hotel. With multiple ways for your stay at Sker Hotel to come to an end, use your time wisely as you navigate the halls and grounds, employing no-weapon survival tactics, and relying on your ability in keeping quiet to keep breathing.
Were you expecting this delay for Maid Of Sker given that we had yet to hear a specific release day and June right around the corner? Do you think that there were more bugs in the game and they are using the delay to get all versions out at the same time now? Do you even care as long as you get a good game? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all. If there is more for Maid Of Sker, you know we will have it here on the site. Be sure to keep checking back in for all of that and much, much more.
