A new developer interview for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider is here and it takes us through the evolution of Lara from the reboot of the Tomb Raider franchise to now
I know we are all waiting for another big update for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider as all we have had since its first leak has been a nice looking CG trailer for the game. It showed us what Eidos-Montréal was aiming for, sure, but it did not give us any actual gameplay or too many details for the game. I have a feeling this was to hold off until Square Enix‘s big E3 showing that is planned but to give us all a taste. A small taste but something to get us ready for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider to come at us on September 14th. It is all about building the hype.
That is, again, what we have here for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider as we have a nice new interview for the game where the developers do just that again. Build up some hype without revealing much of what we did not already know. Like how Lara has transitioned over the course of the last two titles and how she is the one who is kicking off the Mayan Apocalypse we are going to have to deal with in the new game. Suck a long road from the first rebooted Tomb Raider title where her understanding of the world has been flipped upside down. That and the fact that it looks to be her actions and not Trinity’s that now causing all of the issues. It is a funny world we live in, is it not?
With all of that said, have a look at the latest for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider and see how Lara has progressed in ways that she never thought she would. Also how she may be changing yet again in the next title. Then sit back and wait for more to come for Shadow Of The Tomb Raider as we still have a lot of time to get some good updates before the official launch in September. That is unless they want to keep us all in the dark up until that date and thus pondering on what could be coming. Doubtful, but anything is possible…
Shadow Of The Tomb Raider — Lara’s Evolution

Have you enjoyed the personal evolution that Lara has taken over the course of these Tomb Raider titles?
