New details for Jurassic World Evolution have been revealed that adds a sandbox mode to Jurassic World Evolution as well as some new gameplay
Can you feel the rumbling yet? The rumble of Jurassic World Evolution coming at us here soon and bringing with it all of the fun and horrors we have experience in the franchise for decades now. June 12th is not too far off and it looks like Frontier Developments has even more for us to gaze upon and get ready for with the game. Just when you thought we had seen most of what it had to offer it looks like they are also adding in a Sandbox Mode for Jurassic World Evolution among a few other things. The other things will need to wait as we also have a whole lot of new footage to look at and enjoy. Like I said before…
First up we have another look at the famous T-Rex that we all know and love from the films and soon Jurassic World Evolution. Below you can see how the team took the original film assets, new film assets, real research, and then their own flare to recreate this dinosaur as they saw fit. All to make sure that it felt as true to the real-world version none of us have ever known. Just as they mention in the video here, the films have been the most recent version we all assume to be accurate for all of the dinosaurs so they had to recreate just that to raise the level of immersion we are all looking for in Jurassic World Evolution. Seems like a bit of a stretch, but I will take it.
Jurassic World Evolution — T.Rex
The team at Frontier Developments break down all of the work that went into realising one of the franchise’s most iconic dinosaurs.
Moving along from there, we have another developer interview of sorts for Jurassic World Evolution. There is not much new that we have not heard before except that we will be getting a free update with content from the upcoming film and also the new Sandbox Mode. It is a toss away line in the interview here, as it looks, but what this mode truly is the way to play full “god” in Jurassic World Evolution. It will open up the original island from the films and story and also give us the ability to change and set everything as we wish. It sounds more like for those players who want to have a catastrophe every ten seconds in the game to watch the humans flee, but it is a mode that gives us access to the settings to play as we want.
Jurassic World Evolution — Maintaining Order
The team behind Jurassic World Evolution outline all the things you’ll have to keep in mind when managing your own Jurassic World.
Jurassic World Evolution — Sandbox Mode
Jurassic World Evolution will contain a Sandbox Mode set on the original island from Jurassic Park, Isla Nublar.
Are you ready to dive into Jurassic World Evolution or do you still need more to sell you on the game? Does the inclusion of this new Sandbox Mode make it more likely you will give the game a go or is it for those sadist Sims players who just want to watch the world burn? Does it bother you that most people think that these films are the most accurate depiction of these creatures and do you think all of the science lifted for it was not altered for a better story? Let us know what you are thinking down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. When we have more for Jurassic World Evolution, we will add it all here for you. Just be sure to keep checking back for all of those updates.
