It’s Time To Meet Liesel Who Is Coming To Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus

Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus — Liesel Video

Another gameplay clip for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus has been posted with a bit more of a look at Wolfenstein II’s new Panzerhund

It is no shock that the Panzerhund is going to be back in Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus. I mean, we’ve already seen it in action during the original announcement that Bethesda had for the game during E3 in way of the old ‘propaganda’ video that aims to sell us all one. One called Liesel at that, but what we need is more of the gameplay for it in Wolfenstein II right? The correct answer is yes as not only has it been visually improved, presumably the AI as well, but Machine Games has added a few extra things to it to give it an extra punch. No longer will it be a simple stalking machine that crops up for specific events and then is taken down fairly easy in the end. At least I think so…

Anyways, we have another look at the new Panzerhund in a new trailer that has been cut for Wolfenstein II. Mostly it is the same as we had before, but it does look like there is a bit more as the focus is all on this robotic beast that now has a flame thrower in its mouth and it also looks like we are going to have to fight one with just our basic gear. Of course, that is how the trailer makes it look and things could change when Wolfenstein II lands on October 27th. At least we still know that there will be a part where we get to ride and control one of them in the game. Hopefully more than just once and not a scripted sequence at that. So many hopes here for now.

A cheeseburger and milkshake at an all-American diner. A peppy parade down small-town Main Street. A sepia-toned sitcom or Technicolor TV gameshow. Few things capture the spirit of mid-century America like these do. But what happens when the Nazis win World War II and spread their evil regime across the globe, including America itself? That’s exactly the situation BJ Blazkowicz finds himself in when Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus begins. And while we’re shown a vision of 1960s America that’s being crushed under the heavy thumb of Nazi oppression, this is still America, which means we’ll see all of the above… but subtly (and sometimes grossly) subverted by Nazi totalitarianism.

What are your thoughts on the new Panzerhund for Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus as it stands so far? Do you like the upgrades or do you think it will lead to some truly harsh battles that will break controllers? Do you think that we will get to ride and control them more than the once seen in the trailer or will it be a scripted sequence we get to experience once? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. For more on Wolfenstein II as it comes, in any shape or form, be sure to check in here on the site. We’ll have it all as we can and you’ll be glad you didn’t miss out.
