Just ahead of the launch for REVEIL, we have a nice long bit of gameplay to show off the horrors coming in REVEIL
Things are starting to truly ramp up here for REVEIL now that we are only a month out from the March 6th launch of the game on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Ramping up so much that Pixelsplit took the time to sit down and show off a massive amount of gameplay to the world recently. At least massive in the way of how some of the puzzle elements of REVEIL are going to play out and then how some of the bigger horror sequences are going to function in the game. Grab a snack and get cozy as we gear up to see how this new title is going to seep into our nightmares as well as twist our brains just a bit more than they already are.
There are two main segments for REVEIL to look at here as CozyGamerKat talks to the team behind the game. The first segment leans more into the puzzles and, as they explain it, more of an escape room style of gameplay. That is, we will have to solve a series of puzzles to get to the next portion of the game. The next portion is offered up more as a mind trip to make us question what is real and what is fantasy in the world of REVEIL. It is a fun little narrative choice to go with. Especially when we see that it will all culminate with us being hunted down by a living puppet on a train. A sequence of events that will have us solving puzzles while running for our lives in the mix. It is rather intense, but have a look at it all just a little lower down.

From the start, I knew that REVEIL was going to offer up some weirdness and other fun elements in the mix. I am also a sucker for a good circus or sideshow setting. I did not know how hard the team was going to go on this and make it even more of an exciting adventure to go through. The physics puzzles look like fun and I am sure things will be a little harder to navigate than we see in the video above; since we are going to be playing it for the first time and I am sure they have played REVEIL numerous times already. I am not a fan of the puzzles while being chased, but that is something I will get out of my comfort zone to head out and experience. March is so close yet so far for this one.
Are you excited for REVEIL now that you have seen how some of the puzzles and other elements will function out there? Do you like the escape room style to it all or do you want to just have a puzzle and then a door? How do you feel about the chase sequence we have to see here and will it be something you will hope to be able to skip as fast as possible? Run on down to the comment section to discuss all of this and everything else that we have to share with you. We have more to come for REVEIL, I know it, so please keep on coming back to see and hear about all of that as we get closer to the full launch of the game.
