We get a better look at the accessibility options for God Of War: Ragnarök that will make it the most accessible God Of War yet

We on the precipice for the launch of God Of War: Ragnarök with it hitting the PS4 and PS5 tomorrow November 9th. Many of us have been gearing up for this release and need whatever we can get to keep us going until then. Good thing that Santa Monica Studio is here one more time to give us a behind-the-scenes look at the game and how it was made. The bigger thing here, though, is that we also get to see many of the new accessibility options that are going to be in the mix for God Of War: Ragnarök right from day one of the game. Many to help players get a true experience of the game and maybe a few that will help others in ways they might not have known they needed help with. Not in making the game easier, but to offer up tools not everyone might have known they needed to get the best experience.

I do have to say that this new design technique for God Of War: Ragnarök is a lot more than most would expect out there. Not just in getting more people to access to the game or the ability to play, but to help others realize things they might not have known were there or needed in the first place. For me, and I only realized this now, having direction arrows toward the character speaking or even a slight glow around collectibles in the mix would have helped in the previous God Of War title. Not to make the game easier but to reduce the confusion and stress of trying to figure that out while trying to enjoy the larger gameplay elements at hand. Things I never knew I would need and will just add to a better experience for myself. Not to mention all of the other little features to help those with a few more restrictions than I personally have. It is interesting to see, especially in a game like this, but I know I want to see it become more of an industry norm moving forward now.
