The update if here for Green Hell that adds on a prequel story to further explain just what is going on in the wilds of Green Hell
The update for Green Hell is finally here for those that have been playing or holding out for even more story. This is the update we brought up before where Creepy Jar is adding on a whole bunch of new content to expand the story for the core game. Sure, this may all be a prequel to what happens in the story that we already have for Green Hell but it is nice to see how things progressed to the horrors they did in the first place. Well, most of the time it is. I have a feeling this will do just what we want for the story even if the focus should be on all of the new gameplay features and mechanics that will are out there for the game now too. I love seeing these kinds of IPs always growing and expanding beyond what they had planned out the gate.
Just as with all other launches or major updates we get for our games, we have a new trailer to try to highlight what to expect in Spirits Of Amazonia here. It looks like most of the survival gameplay we normally know out there in Green Hell is taking a backseat to a more action-oriented story here. That could just be how the trailer shows it given that Green Hell was mainly a survival style game where we had to worry about resource management and camp building. It has been a while since I dove into that game so it could have evolved quite a bit. Then again, this is mainly a story update and it does make sense to focus on that instead of the other mechanics the IP is known for.
