A new developer diary for Devil May Cry 5 is here to show off a new gameplay mode as well as some of the Devil Breakers we will have in Devil May Cry 5
Fans of the Devil May Cry series will obviously know that the game is all about style and ending a good combo with a crazy high rank in said style. If you are not familiar with that then you may want to look back at all of the other titles in this franchise that Capcom has put out there, as well as other developers, and become fully aware of all of this. We will be required to have all kinds of style in Devil May Cry 5. At least if we want to make it through the game with the best ranking and experience as possible. We will not sit back and wait for you to do this as we will carry on over here.
With all of that said, it looks as if the team has looked at how expansive things will be in Devil May Cry 5 and opted to give us what they are calling The Void mode in the game. More or less, this is a training mode that will place us and various enemies in an area to practice all of those sweet combos we will have. There will be all kinds of different settings so we can make sure that we are properly progressing through this Devil May Cry in the correct way and ending on a high note with each. All so we can build up to having the best score possible when we dive back into the game proper. Just as a good training mode should.
If that does not get your engine running for Devil May Cry 5 here, we also have a look at the Devil Breakers we will have in the game and how they can be used. All through the Void mode here, but it fleshes them out a bit more. These would also be the robotic arms that we can swap through in the game to make sure we are not being taken down too easily and also working in some of the other Capcom IPs in the mix. If anything, the following video is worth a watch for that as the announcement of a training mode should have been enough to explain what The Void will be bringing with it here.
Devil May Cry 5 — First Look At ‘The Void’
Devil May Cry 5 producer Matt Walker joined director Hideaki Itsuno from Capcom’s head office in the vibrant city of Osaka to show off the rich culture of the city and share how the team draws from their surroundings. Itsuno provided insight into how Capcom’s action games are influenced by the Osaka area, before giving Inside Xbox a first look at the comprehensive training mode he’s created for Devil May Cry 5 — dubbed ‘The Void’.
How do you feel about The Void being added in here for Devil May Cry 5 and will you be using it constantly to improve your skills? How are you feeling about the different Devil Breakers we have here and how they will all work in the game? Do you think we will be limited to these only or will we see a lot more flow out after the game releases? Let us all know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. For more on Devil May Cry 5, though, be sure to stick close here. We will keep all of the updates flowing out there as best that we can.
