Call Of Duty: Vanguard Will Give Us A WWII As We Have Never Seen

Call Of Duty: Vanguard — Vanguards Of Photography - WWII Like Never Seen Before

An interesting video for Call Of Duty: Vanguard is here where real-world war photojournalists dive into how this Call Of Duty feels

As our games push forward with technology and various other elements, we will start to see some interesting ways for it to be used for things outside of basic enjoyment. For Call Of Duty: Vanguard here, it looks like we are taking an interesting step out with the use of the game to give some war photojournalists a chance to see how WWII could have felt if they were out in the field as they would have been if alive and with the tech. Not to mention a fun way for Sledgehammer Games to show that this Call Of Duty will be one step closer to capturing the look and feel of a real battlefield for those out there that will never step foot on one. Something to think about and appreciate when diving into these war games for sure. That and a way to get one more step towards true immersion into our video games, as it sounds like they are hitting it on the head here.

What we have to look at here, though, is an interesting run through the current build for Call Of Duty: Vanguard where these photojournalists have freedom of movement as the game is being played so they can capture the events in the safety of a sound stage. It is a little more dramatic in the presentation than it would have been in the mix, but it does a fun job of showing how Call Of Duty has been able to capture elements that would be seen for real out there. It could also be an interesting way for the team to announce that we will be getting a Photo Mode of some sort in the mix of the campaign for players to do the same. I know it would be a little interesting to be able to go about the game in this way. We are just stepping into someone else’s boots when it comes to all of this, so it makes more sense to have it.

Call Of Duty: Vanguard — Vanguards Of Photography – WWII Like Never Seen Before

Two renowned war photojournalists Alex Potter and Sebastiano Piccolomini stepped inside Call Of Duty: Vanguard to capture World War II like we’ve never seen before. Call Of Duty: Vanguard launches Nov 5th.

Is this a way you would want to experience parts of the Call Of Duty games out there or would you rather be the one doing all the killing and fighting? Do you think this means we might be seeing a full Photo Mode in the game here or is it just a fun little marketing bit with nothing more to it? Could we see a mode in these games as we have in others that will let us take a walking tour in the game setting with the history lessons turned on? Let us know your thoughts on all of this and everything else out there down in the comments. More is coming for Call Of Duty: Vanguard and we will share it all here for you. All you need to do is keep checking back in for all of that and much more.
