Three more characters for Agents Of Mayhem have been highlighted in a new trailer as the Bombshells in Agents Of Mayhem have been dropped
Here we go with another trailer for Agents Of Mayhem to show off a bit of gameplay but also three new characters in the mix of things for the game. Maybe not completely new characters as Volition has shown the basic look of these characters already, but now the Bombshells, as they are called, have been shown off and a bit more in action. In action in Agents Of Mayhem but also with a bit more of the character descriptions for them as they have only been figures in the past trailers and on the promotional materials that Deep Silver uses for the game. Get ready to meet these three new characters here.
So, kind of like the Franchise Force before in Agents Of Mayhem the Bombshells are comprised of similar character types but with their differences to make them more unique characters and not just different skins. You have the “Face” or fashion model, Joule, who has a strong skill in engineering and the ability to build “Murder Turrets.” Then you have Rama, an immunologist who is also a pretty solid assassin and “sniper” in the group. Rounding it out is Redcard, or the “heavy” of the group who also has the delusions of being a pro futball players all jacked up on steroids. Or something to that extent when you see him in action here.
Agents Of Mayhem — Bombshells
Mayhem has its share of eccentrics, but the Bombshells are the most volatile of all. Meet Joule, Rama and Red Card.
- Joule — Don’t be fooled by Joule’s beautiful, sweet demeanor; behind the high fashion lies a mind of robotic engineering genius that makes her equally as comfortable walking the runways in stilettos as engineering deployable murder turrets. With her Master Programmer ability, Joule is the perfect complement to Rama.
- Rama — As the world’s foremost immunologist, Rama uses her Deadshot ability to gain precision the more she charges her bow. Her weapon class lends her the shield buster status, allowing Rama to deal bonus damage to shields and pierce targets protected by hard shields.
- Redcard — No team is complete without a resident futball-obsessed lunatic; Redcard wields his Hooligan weapon to pierce the skin of his unfortunate enemies, precisely hitting them with his close-range charge attacks to clear the crowd.
Having played Agents Of Mayhem in the past and getting to experience the other characters, I know that each is going to feel and play a bit different even though they seem to fall into the same categories and archetypes here. I’m not going to fault Volition on that as this is kind of how it is in all other games when it comes to personalities and types. I will fault them if they only look and sound different and don’t add a variety to the gameplay as that is the main reason to have all the other characters in the game. I guess we will all find out on August 15th when Agents Of Mayhem hits the PS4, Xbox One, and PC though.
What are you now thinking about Agents Of Mayhem and how it has been evolving over the last stretch of time? Do you agree that the team here feels a lot like the other team just with different “personalities” here? Are you still hopeful as I am that this is all just how Deep Silver is presenting them and the gameplay for each will make them completely different in motion? Let us know down in the comments and then feel free to discuss. For more on Agents Of Mayhem and the remaining characters to be shown off, keep your browser locked in here. We’ll have more of it all as we get closer to the release date and you won’t want to miss out on any of it.
