A new mashup of Control’s developer diaries is here to recap as well as tease a new announcement for another character joining in on Control
Maybe you have kept up on all of the Control updates or maybe you have missed out on a few. There has been quite a few since we first caught wind of the game from Remedy. All of which have been presented in the team’s unique way of going about things. Some of it has been as ominous as we could expect for Control, sure, but some has been pretty straightforward for us to take in. Now we have them all in one solid mashup to make sure we fully understand what is going on before the game launches on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. At least as of this point as we still have a whole lot of time before that actually happens.
What is truly interesting here is if you stick it out until the end here we have a new tease for something to come for Control here. It looks like Matthew Porretta will also be used in the game here and we will get a better update in the next developer diary. For those not fully versed in their voice actors, that would be the voice of Alan Wake. It looks like they are retapping all of their old casts here for Control even if he is currently slated as a minor NPC in the game. That is at least the assumption here given the slight tease we have. Although it does start to ask the question on if they are trying to blend all of their games into one universe for us. I guess we will see…
Control — Dev Diary Mashup
This episode is a collection of highlights from the five Dev Diaries we’ve published on Control.
Are you fully up to date on your Control stuff or did you need this nice little refresher? Are you at all surprised that Remedy is using another voice actor from the past or is it a huge shock and make you expect for the rest to show up at some point? Do you think this will be some kind of bridge between all of their titles or do they just like working with the same actors with nothing more on it? Let us all know down in the comments what you are thinking and then feel free to discuss. For more on Control, though, be sure to keep checking back in here. We will have it all for you and you will be glad you stuck around.
