The Outlast Trials Brings On The Sweet Release Of Escape

The Outlast Trials — Amelia Escape Update

Our chance to escape The Outlast Trials in the game is here and we get another dark experience in the world of Outlast

The next update for The Outlast Trials is finally here and we might finally be getting some of that sweet release for our Reagents in the game. That is, it looks like we might actually be able to escape the nightmare of it all and start the experience all over again. That would be the assumption to it all here, as I am sure that Red Barrels would want us all to come back and keep playing after we made it out. Unless this is all another dark test in the world of Outlast and there will never truly be any escape with us all locked into our PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC even longer. At least past the April 22nd date when the third season comes out. One that will lead to our rebirth…

Once you pick up the latest update for The Outlast Trials, you will be able to kick off your escape from the trials. You and three other friends as they try to follow in the footsteps of Amelia and find other escape plans scattered throughout the trials. Along with all of that, there will be the usual cosmetics to further support Amelia in the cause or have something to come back and be reborn in. Something that sounds like it is getting a bit of a shift too when the next season for The Outlast Trials comes with Exclusive Legendary Outfits available based on the number of times we become reborn. I have a feeling we will get more of those updates as the launch for the next season gets closer. For now, though, have a look at what is here now for the game and see if you and your friends are going to fight your way out over the next few weeks this is all going down.

The Outlast Trials — Amelia Escape Update

The Outlast Trials receives a new update, and with it comes the promise of sweet release: the mysterious Amelia has created a chance for Reagents to escape Murkoff’s tortuous prison of nightmarish experiments! Introducing Season 2.2 of Project Breach, available as a free update for all owners of The Outlast Trials on Steam, Epic, PlayStation, and Xbox stores. This update will be your last chance to experience Rebirth before it is suspended as of the Season 3 update on April 22 as we work to improve this feature.

Amelia has managed to trick the system, creating a brief means of escape for the victims of Dr. Easterman and his unethical experiments. Thanks to her carefully positioned Escape Plans and other tools, Reagants can now attempt their own getaway to try and free themselves from the horrors of the Sinyala Facility.

But Murkoff won’t let them go without a fight. Doubling down on the extreme surveillance already embedded throughout the facility, the risk of being exposed to the all-seeing eye is greater than ever before.

The Escape:

  • Interact with the Terminal in the Sleep Room to commence your Escape
  • Assemble Escape group with up to 4 Reagents
  • Don’t miss your shot at freedom — it may never come again!

Under Surveillance Part II:

  • Find the Escape Plans scattered throughout the Trials to help Reagents escape the Murkoff Institution
  • Find & watch Amelia’s Escape message before Murkoff does
  • Aid Amelia in her fight for liberation!

New Limited-Time Catalog: Amelia:

Show your support for the fearless Amelia by unlocking and wearing the exclusive cosmetics available in the Amelia Catalog. Acquire Event Tokens by completing Under Surveillance Trials and certain Tasks, then make sure to use all acquired Tokens before the event’s completion on April 22nd. After that date, all remaining Event Tokens will be lost.

Reagent Reborn Experimental Changes:

The Season 3 update will arrive on April 22nd, and the Sinyala Facility will usher in some changes to its Reborn initiative in order to improve its renowned Therapy. As this feature is being implemented, becoming Reborn will be suspended as of the Season 3 update on April 22nd.

Reagents can obtain exclusive Legendary Outfits when they become Reborn, as well as Trophy Cell Items after hitting 1, 5, 10, 25, 50, 75, and 100 Reborns.

Do you think that we are truly going to get some escape in the world of Outlast or will this all be an illusion to pull us further in? What do you think will be the payoff in the story of it all if we do escape or is this just a fancy way to usher in new gameplay features later on? Is there a reason this is labeled as Season 2.2 instead of a different way with Season 3 just around the corner here? Rush on down to the comment section to discuss all of that and everything else that we have to offer up out there. We will keep the news for The Outlast Trials flowing on out there as they keep the updates coming. Please do not escape the site here, as you will miss out on all of the fun and darkness this IP keeps on bringing with each new addition.
