The demo for Mars Attracts has more updates out there and other things we can add into the world of Mars Attracts too
The demo for Mars Attracts is out there, so this all might sound like a bit of an April Fool’s Day joke with the announcement that the demo is out… again. Those who wanted to give the game a go before now, on March 20th, had the chance when it hit the PC out there. So, what is going on here with Outlier when it comes to the demo announcement we have here today? Well, it looks as if there have been some big updates to Mars Attracts and the demo we can experience, along with ways that we can get ourselves into the game too. Turning all of this into more of an Early Access to the game than a demo, but is that not what Early Access titles usually are? Just very extended demos to keep us going as the teams finish up the core game.
So, in addition to the demo being out there for Mars Attracts, it looks as if the team has shifted some of the focus of the game once more but to feed the players as well as the Martian’s needs to serve it all. There is a bit more of a focus on some of the traps and torture elements we can use in the game, with some being removed for a few reasons too. This is to all fix some of the flow and balance in the game to make it more enjoyable all around and get it into many more hands. Something we will all want to see more of for Mars Attracts, with the ability to add your voice into the game officially if you want to take them up on the offer. As well as offering up ways to further the Martian quest out there and other methods to harm the Earthlings within. Again, turning this a bit more into an Early Access instead of the traditional demo we have all been forced to accept in the past. A solid way to manage all of this and will keep me testing things out for them moving forward.
Mars Attracts — Demo Devlog
The demo is out now! In this video, Outlier breaks down all of the features that went into their latest version of Mars Attracts, and what the team will be working on next.
Mars Attracts is a theme park management game set in the iconic universe of Mars Attacks.
Build rides, hire and train staff, manage guest needs, and most importantly – abduct humans to serve as the star attractions!
Craft the perfect park to appeal to your Martian guests, but don’t forget to keep your humans’ needs met too – the hideous enclosed-brained Earthlings can be prone to escape!
Mars Attracts will be released in Early Access on Steam in 2025.
Is this what you were expecting to have flow out there when picking up the demo for Mars Attracts or is this more how other teams should handle their demos? Will it stay like this until the full Early Access for the game hits this year or could they scrap that and just bring us along for the ride in this manner until the full launch? What else do you think was scrapped from the game to make it past certain things and will we get to see a b-roll of things that hit the cutting-room floor? Drop on down to the comment section to leave all of those thoughts and then feel free to discuss it all until the end of days. There is still a lot more to come for Mars Attracts, and we will share it here with you as best we can. Please keep on coming back to the attraction of the site to see and experience all of that as it flows on out there.
