Better Use The Pendulum With The New Gameplay We Have For The Occultist

The Occultist — Gameplay

We have some gameplay to look at for The Occultist so we can get further into the mindset of our Occultist out there

In the mix of all of the fun with the recent Nacon Connect, we had a bit of The Occultist slip into the mix out there. An interesting choice, given that it is DALOAR and Daedalic Entertainment behind the bulk of it all, but it is one I will gladly take as it gave us all a bit of the gameplay we can expect when the game lands in 2026 for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Something a bit further beyond than just another first-person horror experience and also fitting with all of the paranormal things we have on the way. So, get ready to see just a little bit of what The Occultist has to offer and some of the frights we can expect to experience next year.

I know there was a bit of a build-up there for the gameplay for The Occultist, but now to set some expectations. Given how far out for the release of the game, it is a little on the shorter and basic side of things we are getting here. Mostly, it will is a look at some of the creepy locations we will be wandering about in the game, along with the basic use of the Mystic Pendulum in the game. Very little action that rather highlights the horror setting and not so much of the action and puzzle solving we are going to be doing. Again, though, The Occultist is still a year out from being ready to launch, so it is most likely on the lighter side of anything feeling polished enough to share with the masses out there. But, you can have a look at all of that a little further down the page here and make your judgments based on that. It does still look as if it has a whole lot of extra promise for all of us horror fans in the world.
