Until Dawn’s Movie Gets Us Further Stuck In Time With A New Trailer

Until Dawn — Second Trailer

The next trailer for Until Dawn is out there and it looks like there are more time shenanigans coming in Until Dawn’s movie

It looks like we are going to be stuck in more time here with the Until Dawn movie when it hits theaters on April 25th. That is, of course, based on the latest trailer we have for the film to see how Sony Pictures is going about adapting the Supermassive Games title. It still feels odd to have something so vastly different given that Until Dawn originally played out like a movie when in video game form, but choices were made. Now, we are going to be caught in this wicked time loop and maybe see some other things go down based around time. If the latest trailer for the film is saying more than just giving us some cool visuals and new monsters coming for our teens in the film.

So, from the first trailer and synopsis for the Until Dawn movie, we knew there was going to be some time loop going on as each night the characters are killed and then find themselves back in the mix. Here, we get to see some events playing out forward and others backward, which is a fun choice for things but does make me wonder if that is also going to be something we see happen in the film. A way for characters to solve or fix one of the issues they are going through. I have a feeling it is more of an artistic choice to better sell the Until Dawn movie more than anything. Even if they did focus more on the various things killing the cast, that might grab more attention. This trailer does seem to offer up new zombies, killer dolls, a few more masked killers, and something that looks like a troll in the distance. Those are the parts I am more curious about and think will be what truly shines in this movie since they deviated from the game so much.

Watch the new trailer for the Until Dawn movie – exclusively in theaters on April 25.

One year after her sister Melanie mysteriously disappeared, Clover and her friends head into the remote valley where she vanished in search of answers. Exploring an abandoned visitor center, they find themselves stalked by a masked killer and horrifically murdered one by one…only to wake up and find themselves back at the beginning of the same evening. Trapped in the valley, they’re forced to relive the nightmare again and again – only each time the killer threat is different, each more terrifying than the last. Hope dwindling, the group soon realizes they have a limited number of deaths left, and the only way to escape is to survive until dawn.

Is this all an artistic choice or will we get to see parts of Until Dawn play out in reverse for some of the characters? Why do you think we are getting so many masked creatures or killers in the mix of the 13 days here? What do you suspect the bigger supernatural creatures are here and will it introduce something bigger for the IP down the line? Take all of those new thoughts and feelings into the comments and then discuss it all until the sun rises for the film’s release. Each new trailer for the Until Dawn movie is going to pull us back in, so be sure to join us on the voyage to see what they all will bring to us. Maybe this will be a better take on the source and all of the doubt will be washed away once the film fully hits theaters in a few months.
