Another look at Atomfall shows off some of the game features and loops we will be going through when Atomfall launches
We are only getting closer to March 27th and the pending release of Atomfall on the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, so it is further time to get more details on what we will be experiencing the game when it launches. Not to mention to give those playing on the PS4 and PS5 a bit of a look at what Rebellion is working on for the game as they wait a little longer. That is why we are here once more for Atomfall to show off the world and some of the features that will be on the way to us all when the game gets into our hands. Let us take a look at this new post-nuclear disaster world that will be hitting all of these systems relatively soon.
To start things off for Atomfall, it is a single-player action game with survival elements mixed right in. That means we are going to have a lot of shooting, exploring, and crafting that comes with this genre of games. All so we can better survive the different world we find ourselves in after the Windscale nuclear power station went through a bit of a meltdown. New religions have popped up to help others cope with all of this devastation, so we will need to worry about factions in the mix of Atomfall and other folklore that goes along with the new setting we are dropped into. Other than that, it looks like it will be the same loop we have seen in many other titles, just with a bit of a different story to help guide us all along the path out there. Atomfall — Features
Atomfall will launch on March 27, 2025, and is now available to pre-order. Atomfall is coming on day one to Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows PC, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Atomfall will also release on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
Set in the aftermath of a nuclear disaster, Atomfall tasks players with solving the mystery of what happened at the Windscale nuclear power station. To solve this, you will need to navigate military encampments, delve through abandoned bunkers below ground, and risk your life in Pagan ruins.
Central to the dark mystery are the host of eccentric characters and cryptic organizations that inhabit the quarantine zone. These individuals have been cut off from the outside world for years and left to their own devices, so are anything but normal. But be careful, they aren’t all friendly and you will need to get to grips with an array of ranged and melee weapons if you are to survive!
