It has been announced that Wild West Online will be leaving Early Access and coming to a full release with Wild West Online getting some extras added in
The time has come as Wild West Online will be leaving the Early Access state on Steam here on May 10th. Not because it is being removed from the service but because it is finally coming in its almost final form. I say almost final because it is an MMO and 612 Games can keep the changes going well after the release and so Wild West Online can keep up with all of the other games in the similar design. It will be an undertaking but it will be giving us all that extra Westworld feel as we can run around and do all of those old west things some may have dreamt of. If it was in VR the parallels would be a lot closer, but alas.
Obviously, with the release of Wild West Online means that a lot of different things for the game will be changing or getting the full update. There will be rival faction global conflicts added to the world, several major public PvP events, and more PvE quests, missions, and other activities that the Wild West is known for. Given the extra time they have had and all of the feedback so far, it seems just about right for Wild West Online to get all of this. You can see some of these enhancements in the following trailer or just get ready to drop your $20 USD to pick it up. It looks like it will be a good hold over until other titles are released at the minimum.
