The release date for Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption has been pushed back but at least gamers on the Switch will have the chance to give Sinner a play
If you were gearing up to play Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption on April 25th here…then you may want to put the brakes on that. It looks like the game is no longer hitting that date and will now be looking at a Q3 2018 release date to get in on this new Boss Battler title with a twist Dark Star Games and Another Indie are working on. That seems like quite the delay for a game that was supposed to land just a few weeks from now. The bigger reason given for the delay is that it will now be hitting the PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Switch all at the same time. Yes, Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption is now coming to the Switch for those gamers out there who want partake in the fun.
You can take a look at the announcement trailer for Sinner landing on the Switch just below. If the base description of Boss Battler has not sold you on it, do take note that there is a deviation to the design that could make the game truly stand out. It is nothing new to report, but for those just looking at it because of the extra platform; the game debuffs the player at each new boss and does not seem to be buffing the bosses instead. The premise of Sinner is that you are traveling deeper into Hell to take on the seven deadly sins. Each time you delve deeper to seek your Redemption, you must Sacrifice part of yourself to do so. There will be armor and weapons to pick up along the way to help counterbalance this a bit but the point is that each gets harder because you are getting weaker. It is a take on the style that has piqued my interest from the start.
For now, have a look at the new trailer for Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption and see if it will be a game you are looking to pick up now that it has been expanded out to an extra platform. For the low price of $18.99 USD, you cannot truly go too wrong with it.
Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption — Switch Announcement
Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption, the boss battler from publisher Another Indie and developer Dark Star Game Studios, will launch on Nintendo Switch alongside the previously announced PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Windows and Mac versions. All platforms will receive a simultaneous launch in Q3 2018.
To atone for his wicked crimes, Adam, a soldier with a dark past, must set out on a quest for redemption and face off against monstrous enemies based on the seven deadly sins. His vile deeds and history with these beasts will unfold as he draws closer to absolution.
Sacrifice a part of Adam before each duel and receive a permanent debuff, resulting in reduced health, strength or equipment for the entirety of the journey. Each battle will become tougher than the last as debuffs stack, but new gear can be obtained by successfully conquering trials.
If all hope is lost, revive a defeated enemy to regain a sacrificed attribute and revisit the battle later. Experiment to find the optimal path to redemption or take on all debuffs simultaneously from the start for a challenging and rewarding journey.
How do you feel about Sinner: Sacrifice For Redemption getting the delay here? Do you think it needed to hop over to the Switch or could it have been moved over after hitting its initial launch date? Do you think that this is a ruse to also fix glaring issues that Dark Star Games was still having with the game or something that Another Indie placed a halt on to make sure it hit all platforms at the same time? Let us know your thoughts and then discuss. There will be more for Sinner here and when there is, we will have it on the site. Be sure to keep checking back in to see it all as it flows out there.
