The release date for Extinction is set and coming up fast, but there is still time to pre-order Extinction and get some fun little extras
We finally have a release date for Extinction and now we can look forward to heading into this crazy troll neck slicing adventure on April 10th. It has been a long road since Iron Galaxy showed us all what they had back at E3 last year, but it looks like some great stride have been made and now we can get ready for the final version here. I know I am at least excited about it all. That and the fact that Extinction is also going to be getting two different bundles to purchase. One being the standard game and the other being a Deluxe Edition that will cost slightly more than normal, $69.99 USD, but will come with a Season Pass of extra content. Something you can pick up later for $14.99 USD if you do not want to take the full plunge just yet for the game.
If you are just as excited to get Extinction, then you will also be glad to know that you can pre-order your physical copy of the game right now. Digital pre-order will come sometime in February. Also, as in the case almost all the time, depending on where you pre-order you can score some extra DLC just for securing your copy of Extinction at a specific place. All of which are different extra ‘Trials’ to play, but it looks like the GameStop offer is a bit better as it does come with two different trials. You can see more of the details on all of this just below. Or, just head out and secure your copy at your favorite location and then get ready for a few months of waiting.
Pre-orders are available now for the standard and deluxe editions of Extinction. The standard edition is available for $59.99 USD and the Deluxe Edition, which includes the ‘Days of Dolorum’ Season Pass, is available for $69.99 USD. Digital pre-orders will be available in early February. Players who want the Season Pass at a later date can purchase it for $14.99 USD.
