The second episode of Life Is Strange: Before The Storm has been given a release date and some old characters from Life Is Strange will be showing their faces here
If you have been anxious as I have for Life Is Strange: Before The Storm to get its second episode then you can kick back and get ready as it has been dated and the story will carry on. Thankfully, Deck Nine Games did not make us all wait too long to carry on with the story as it looks like said episode will be coming to the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on October 19th so we can all pick up where we left off. That or know that we are getting closer to being able to sit down and experience the whole version of Life Is Strange: Before The Storm in a lot shorter time than some of those other episodic titles out there. With any luck, by the start of next year, all of you holdouts will be able to go from start to finish in one sitting instead of needing to have a break in between.
As with most release date announcements, Life Is Strange: Before The Storm‘s new episode has a trailer to go along with it. All so we can get a small look at what to expect in the next chapter of the game and as it turns out, also see how Chloe became more of an outcast at the school and how she fits in with a few other characters from the original Life Is Strange. Of course, none of this is too shocking as it is all set in the same area and the same characters are going to be making leaps from one to the other, but it is something worth mentioning I guess. At least it looks that way based on the promotions that Square Enix has been putting on for the game. Shared universes are supposed to be that way though.
Life Is Strange: Before The Storm — Brave New World
The new Life Is Strange: Before The Storm Episode 2 Trailer sets the scene for the events of Episode 2: Brave New World, showcasing some new characters and environments alongside others that are making a return from the first game. As Chloe and Rachel’s family life continues to crumble, their friendship blossoms and the two girls discuss running away together. But before they can go, Chloe gets involved with an errand for Frank Bowers which puts her in a dangerous situation and exposes an uglier side to Arcadia Bay…
It does look interesting to see that someone who looked to be rather “chill” in the first episode of Before The Storm is placing us in a very precarious position. This could just be how the trailer is cut here, but it does look like some of those options from before could be biting us back right now. At least depending on the options selected here and based on what the average was for all players. I know my selections and actions were mostly against the norm, but thankfully we do not have to wait much longer to see if that is the case. Now back to chilling as we wait for this new episode to finally drop.
Do you think this will be the big turning point for Chloe in Life Is Strange or will it just be the beginning of the end for her here? Does it look like this trailer is going down a very specific path now or did your selections mirror what we are seeing here? What characters are you hoping to see show up here in this prequel or were you hoping for more of the generic ones to fill in the blanks? Let us all know what you are thinking and then discuss down in the comments. For more on Life Is Strange: Before The Storm and its future episodes, make sure to keep checking back in here. We will have it all as it is revealed and you will want to stay on top of all of it.
