A new trailer for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War has just dropped and it gives us a glimpse of the other lands Shadow Of War will have to offer us all
It’s been a nice little bit since we had something new for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War and now we get to come at you with an open-world kind of trailer to look at. It’s not the kind that you would assume with all of the other open-world trailers we get, but this one shows off more of the fighting as well as a few of the new places that Monolith Productions has put together for us to explore so it isn’t all Mordor and the surrounding areas. That would make Shadow Of War a little on the boring side if we were still confined to the same locations as before, but that will not be the case. At least as we can spy at least three more environments mixed in here to keep us all entertained on August 22nd and forward.
Sadly, what we don’t get is more of anything else for Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War as well as full descriptions as to why we are headed into all of these other lands in the game. I’m sure fans of The Hobbit and The Lord Of The Rings can surmise all of that as this does all take place in the time between both of those stories, but for those who don’t dive into all of the lore out there, it is left open. Just as the last game I guess. If nothing else though, it does give us a fun look at Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War and some of the soul-sucking gameplay we have to look forward to. I guess there is at least that for now.
Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War — Dominate The Open World
The video introduces viewers to the vast environments within Middle-earth, stretching beyond Mordor, and giving fans the first glimpse of various new environments to explore, including the Island of Nurn, Cirith Ungol, Gorgoroth and more. Through the innovative Nemesis System, every player experiences a unique world to explore and share and every area of the world is larger, more varied and more dynamic than ever before.
Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War is still slated to launch on August 22nd for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It is also being slated as an open-world RPG that continues on the original narrative from Middle-Earth: Shadow Of Mordor and will bring us closer to a world full of epic hero and villains. Not to mention some of the icon locations we’ve only read about or seen in the films while trying to master the Nemesis System that Monolith Productions will be bringing back to Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War. It was a great mechanic so I don’t know why they wouldn’t here. Especially after seeing the last bit of gameplay that focused all on it.
What part of Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War are you most excited to get to look at here? Do you think that we will get to see some of the more icon locations from the stories or will they be the most popular and easiest to design for? Were you able to spot more locations than listed in the above trailer or will we all still be waiting for the best to come still? Let us know down in the comments and then discuss. For more on Middle-Earth: Shadow Of War, be sure to stick around here. We’ll keep bringing you all of the new footage and trailers that we can, so be ready for all of that soon.
