It has been announced that LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is coming and LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 will be bringing all of the fun & more that we know and love
Hopefully you wanted more Marvel and LEGO fun as it has been announced that LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 is on its way to us and as soon as November 14th for those who want to pick it up on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Don’t fret if you are one of those new Switch owners who want in on TT Games‘ new title, as Warner Bros. will be getting that version out there sometime before the Holiday Season. I’m guessing that means a month delay for that platform to get LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 as the general “Holiday Season” is around a week before the Winter Solstice and that would place it firmly in that time line. We’ll know for certain soon I am sure.
Outside of that, all we have to go on for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 here is that it is coming and we have a nice little teaser that will be expanded on May 23rd to a full trailer. That and it looks like we will have a bit of time travel mixed in for both the story and the gameplay in some way. Or at least a way to manipulate time in the core game and maybe in the four-player competitive Super Hero battling mode. All with the fun and humor we could expect in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 based on where Marvel has taken all of their IPs so for in all the different forms of medium they are in currently.
LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 — Teaser Trailer
Players will go head-to-head with the time-traveling Kang the Conqueror in an epic battle across Chronopolis, from Ancient Egypt and The Old West to Sakaar and New York City in 2099. Along the way, gamers will be able to take control of a host of iconic characters, from Cowboy Captain America from the past to Spider-Man 2099 from the future along with Thor, Hulk, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Black Panther, Captain Marvel, Doctor Strange, Green Goblin, and dozens of other Marvel Super Heroes and Super Villains.
Teased along with the announcement for LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 it looks like a lot of our favorite characters from before will be back, we will get a few new ones mixed in, as well as some time-based version of them. In that I mean characters like Cowboy Captain America and Centurion Hulk. Although the later there does go hand in hand with the upcoming Thor film, but given the time travel and manipulation aspect of LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 it could be that we go back in time with him and not just see him from a different setting in the established content. I hope we will see here on the 23rd and then in November.
What are your thoughts on LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 getting the full announcement here? Do you think that we need more of these LEGO games or are they getting played out already? Do you think that TT Games will make enough different in this title that it won’t feel like the same game with just new skins? Let us know down in the comments and then discuss. For more on LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, including the full trailer, be sure to stay here on the site as we will have it. Don’t miss out on any of the fun.
