Learn Just How The Characters Are Coming To Life In SAROS

SAROS — Bringing The Characters To Life

Go behind the scenes with SAROS to see just how all of the characters in SAROS are coming to life a bit more

Not long ago, we had a chance to see how SAROS was going to be bringing us all one more story to play on the PS5. There was also a little bit of that story to take in with some gameplay mixed in. That is all fine and good, but with little more to show before the April 30th release date, it looks like Housemarque is just going to take us behind the scenes to see how this is all coming to life. From the faces to the performances that will be in SAROS, along with just how they are going to try to push things forward with the storytelling aspect of things out there. Let’s kick back and see how this is all going to flow and maybe understand why they keep calling all of them NPCs…

Yeah, so it is a little odd that the team keeps referring to all of the characters we’ve seen for SAROS so far as NPCs. Only as one of them is supposed to be our main protagonist in the game, but this might mean that we will be a silent one, or they are holding out on the talent that will be bringing those characters to life. An odd choice, since they are hyping up all of the cast that they do have for the game already. Maybe this all boils down to them not being able to show off the actors in any true way as of yet. Nonetheless, we have a look at SAROS and how they aimed to allow the actors to give the full range of their talents to make the storytelling stand out even more. That is the bigger thing they are pointing back to, as it does look like it could be aiming to push that aspect of gaming forward just a little more. I’ll take that over stunt casting for roles any day of the week.

SAROS — Bringing The Characters To Life

Step behind the scenes to highlight one of the pillars of the SAROS universe: its characters. This latest trailer marks the first time Housemarque shows a deeper look at the ensemble cast: the faces, voices, and performances anchoring the story of SAROS.

SAROS is coming to PS5 on April 30, 2026.

How do you feel about the conversation on NPCs here in SAROS? Is that just a way to keep the protagonist hidden for a bit longer, or do you think we’ll just be a silent one in the game? How do you feel about the performances we have here that don’t look as if they needed any enhancements? Will they show all of the motion capture and voice actors in a future video? Let’s have all of those thoughts spilled out in the comment section so we can discuss them. We are looking forward to more to come for SAROS, and hope that you look forward to seeing it all here too. Please keep checking back for all of those updates and the many others that we have as the new year kicks off. It’s shaping up to be a big one, again, in gaming.
