Learn more about the new Invincible character, Elle Mental, as we dive deeper into the world of Invincible VS
While Elle Mental was put on display when we had the release date for Invincible VS, that is still April 30th, 2026, we did not have much else go on for the character. She is a new one made just for the game with all of the input from Skybound Games to help shape her, but we learned nothing much beyond that. Maybe some moves and that she will bring more of the power of the elements to the matches, but nothing in terms of who she is within the Invincible universe. Given that the graphic novel’s creators were all on board with the first appearance being on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, this is going to be her big debut, so it is time to dive deep into the character and see a whole lot more gameplay to help shape her up.
For starters, Elle Mental will be using the power of the four elements in all of her attacks in Invincible VS. We have seen that in all of the videos for the character up to now, so no shocker. What is interesting is that she started out as a quick pitch to see if the team would be allowed to add the character, with Robert Kirkman agreeing and having the design originally start with a mentalist kind of character. All to evolve to the one we are seeing here. Also, with the evolution that, unlike in the rest of the Invincible world, Elle Mental would not have a messed-up family life to drive her forward. That is a common thing in all comics, so it is always a fun twist to see that the character is not fueled by past trauma and actually out there to do good. Something that seems to have helped bring Tierra Whack into the fold of voicing the character. All of which, you can see in the following videos, we have shown it off with a little more gameplay to behold.
