It Is Now Time To Launch Into A Better World

A Better World — Launch Trailer

The launch for A Better World is here, and we have one more quick tease to get you ready to time-travel into A Better World

The time has finally come, and PC gamers can head into A Better World. A new title that Ludogram and ARTE France have been working on that is blending two amazing inspirations into one. Blending it all together and giving us a mind-bending story to dive into, the game is like The Stanley Parable if it were taken over by the TVA. Perhaps you recall this one from before, or perhaps someone has erased your memory of A Better World that is coming. No matter the case, the game is here and launched, but we have a new reminder and showcase just in case this timeline has been muddled with before you can read all of these words. Let’s have a gander at it all.

If all of that was not enough to sell you on A Better World, let’s talk a bit more about what it actually is. It’s another job simulation-style game, where we will be tasked with making a few choices that will have some consequences. Those consequences are that we could change the timeline of the world out there, as that is what the company does once we get past all of the corporate bureaucracy. We will be heading to different points in time, potentially changing things, and then heading back into our office, where we will see those changes play out. Maybe we killed the dinosaurs. Maybe we stopped the JFK assassination. Maybe we caused the fall of Rome. All of these will have a different outcome, even if the company is all about making sure that the timelines all lead to A Better World. Have a quick look at the gameplay you can now embark on just a bit lower down, and see if the dark humor of this office will bring you into the game a bit further.

A Better World — Launch Trailer

Pack your briefcase and sharpen your ethical instincts – A Better World, the satirical narrative adventure where time travel meets corporate bureaucracy, is now available on Steam for PC and Mac!

Co-developed by Ludogram and co-produced/published by ARTE France, A Better World puts players in the shoes of a new recruit at the enigmatic A Better World Company. Armed with The Computer, the most powerful time machine ever built, your job is simple: travel through history, tweak key events, and “improve” humanity (according to the company’s exacting standards, of course).

From the Jurassic period to the Space Race, and from Ancient Greece to the French Revolution, A Better World lets you traverse centuries in seconds, and make choices that will change the course of history along the way. Will you prevent JFK’s assassination? Redirect humanity to Mars instead of the Moon? Or accidentally trigger the apocalypse before finishing onboarding?

Remember: curiosity is encouraged, but failure is not part of company policy…

Every assignment is evaluated by the company’s HR department, with your Employee Score determining how high you climb the corporate ladder. Replay missions to refine your decisions (and your career trajectory), all while guided by Globos, your virtual assistant.

Key Features:

  • Rewrite history – Use The Computer to meddle with major events, from ancient myths to modern politics
  • Corporate Time Travel – Climb the ranks of A Better World Company through absurd tasks and ethically questionable decisions
  • Meet Globos – Now enhanced with expressive sounds and lighter interactions for a smoother experience
  • Choices With Consequences – Decisions ripple through history, unlocking new outcomes or catastrophic disasters
  • Retro-Futuristic Workplace – Explore a mid-century corporate dystopia inspired by vintage sci-fi aesthetics
  • Witty, Darkly Comic Storytelling – Navigate the fine line between progress and chaos in this satirical tale of power, technology, and “improvement”
