The final release date for Huntsman is set, and we have a few new features to help get us in the mindset for Huntsman
The creepy crawlies are getting closer to under your skin, with Huntsman officially hitting the PC in its full form on November 27th. OnTheHouse Studios has made sure that the massive spiders we are going to be facing will feel like the real deal. Now, Ten Image Publishing is making sure we know all of that before the final release date. They are doing that by not only giving us more gameplay for Huntsman to look at, but also to give us a little bit of an insight into the various arachnids that will be hunting us all down. Starting with the titular one that will be haunting so many dreams after seeing this video, and then playing the game.
To get the ball rolling, the Atherton Laboratories have put together a quick understanding of the Huntsman that will be tracking us in the facility. The movements and tactics of the spider are all based on what they are in the real world. Even if they do seem a bit more formulaic in the video game, and less erratic than the real-world counterpart. As the name implies, this will be a spider that hunts us down using sight and sound to track us. Not an ambush or trap setting spider, which are also supposed to be in Huntsman to a degree. So, for this one, we will need to use stealth and distractions to make sure we lure it off in the wrong direction so we can make it ours. If it does spot us, our only option is to run, so we will then have to hope that we can be more erratic than the spider so we can make it somewhere safe that it can’t get into. That would be the assumption that I can figure out from all of this, as it doesn’t look like we will have weapons to fight back with.
