A little more to the story for The 9th Charnel is here, with a slight look at some of the horrors The 9th Charnel will offer
Hold onto something, as we have a bit more to the story we are going to have with The 9th Charnel. Something that is going to call for some level of sacrifice out there if we want to have some peace, at least as it is being described by Saikat Deb Creations and SOEDESCO for this title coming to the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. That is something that so many other titles claim along the way, and The 9th Charnel doesn’t look like it is changing much up in that regard. On the surface, that is. Given the twists it is listed that we will go down, I am sure that is where the true meat of the story lies, and everything else that will haunt our nightmares will not bring us the peace we are looking for.
All of that posturing aside, The 9th Charnel is a story about a team of genetic scientists led by our protagonist, Michael. They all find that they have been stranded in a remote valley while conducting some of the research that scientists like to engage in. Wouldn’t you know it, but the valley just happens to be home to a cult that is up to some darkness, as cults often do. Michael will lose his team, but set out to find them while dealing with various malevolent forces that this cult has called upon out there. All while getting a few different perspectives along the way with each other character in The 9th Charnel being more than just a basic NPC with basic NPC backgrounds. That should lead to all kinds of emotional rollercoasters for us to ride when the game launches out there. Even if the following video we have for all of this does not highlight many of those points as well as the text does.
