People Of Note Reveals To Us A New Way To Win A Song Contest

People Of Note — Reveal

A new turn-based title, People Of Note, is here to reveal to us how People Of Note will shake things up in the genre with music

I do love a good musical, and it seems like we are getting another in the mix of our video games with People Of Note. A new title that Iridium Studios and Annapurna are working for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC to release somewhere in 2026. Not just in the vein we have seen other musical titles land out there, but with People Of Note being a turn-based title to allow for all of the songs to flow out there. An interesting choice to give us, when others have been a timed event to make sure that the live music videos, as they are, hit the beats correctly and keep the flow going. That will all be seen here, as we have the reveal of just how that could function out there.

As the story for People Of Note goes, we have been shot out of a Noteworthy Song Contest and need to find a new way to impress those judges. That is where we see one of our characters, Candace, starting the journey as she realizes that she might need to be more than a solo act to do this. That is where she will start to journey across the realm of Note, yes, that is the name of the world, in search of others to help build out the act and maybe hit that sweet success she is looking for. To make things worse, and give us a deeper story for People Of Note, it also sounds like there will be a deeper and more sinister thing happening to the world of Note, and that our newly found band will need to hit the stage to help make sure that problem is silenced along the way as well. Not too much for a group of bards to have to do out there, right?

People Of Note — Reveal

After being shut out of the Noteworthy Song Contest, Cadence realizes that her solo act might not be enough for the judges. As she travels across Note to the Rock City of Durandis, the EDM City of Lumina, and more, Cadence fills out her band with eclectic and powerful musicians from lands afar. But something’s brewing in the distance…the Harmonic Convergence is playing havoc with the world’s musical energies, and dark forces are working behind the scenes to disrupt Note’s natural harmonies. It wasn’t in the set list, but Cadence and the others need to step up and make sure music itself still has a future on stage.
