Walk further into the world of Cronos, and see where the horrors started in the universe of Cronos: The New Dawn
I was a little worried that Bloober Team was only going to show off a little bit for Cronos: The New Dawn during Gamescom. Something we had when the show first kicked off, but now we are back with even more to get us all ready for the September 5th release on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC. A whole lot of new gameplay to further immerse us into the world of Cronos and show off where all of the horrors seem to have begun. As long as you are brave enough to enter the Factory here and maybe check out the gameplay to see how things will be different than other games this one has been compared to. Even if the whole “Don’t Let Them Merge” bit was not already enough of a game-changer in this realm. Let us dig right in.
This new gameplay for Cronos: The New Dawn offers up a look at how some of the environments and settings of the world will be laid out for us. Things have spread about this Factory to guide players on a specific path, but those brave enough will be able to find little things left by other Travelers in this time. Not to mention, some of those travels will have left gates behind to section off some of the creatures. All so we have a bit of an explanation as to why things are here in the first place, or are lying around. Not to mention, to make sure we have things to craft in Cronos so we have all of the right ammo and ways to stop the creatures from merging. Like the little fire blasts and bigger shotgun hits that allow us to get through some of the armored enemies. Even if this all does feel like a newer version of Dead Space when we boil things down into the gameplay elements. Have a look and see how it is going to walk us all through.
Cronos: The New Dawn — Into The Factory
Watch as Wojciech Piejko – Game Director of Cronos: The New Dawn – descends into an abandoned factory, the epicenter of the plague that shattered humanity. Learn to disrupt the monsters’ “merging,” manage your resources wisely, and turn both the environment and your weapons’ unique traits into a tactical advantage.
Remember: in Cronos, survival is forged through experience.
The game will arrive on September 5 to PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2!
How are you feeling about Cronos: The New Dawn now that we have seen more gameplay closer to the final version we will have? Do you suspect that this is going to handle much more like the other game we mentioned, or will it be something vastly different when we are behind the controls? Will there be a reason not to destroy all of the other corpses before enemies come, or will it only be resource management that will keep us from spamming the fire blasts? Stomp your way down to the comments section to discuss all of this and everything else that we can find for the game. There should be a bunch more for Cronos: The New Dawn in the coming week, so please keep a close eye on the site for all of those updates that will haunt your dreams heading toward the release.
