A new look at the ray tracing Dying Light: The Beast will have is out of Gamescom, and we see how this will further light up the world of Dying Light
Just when you thought we would get more to see for Dying Light: The Beast ahead of the September 19th release out there, we get another small look at the visuals of the game. Not exactly what I would have thought we would see out of Gamescom for this, but maybe Techland is saving more surprises for when the game launches. We do not know. All we know is that the PC crowd out there will have some flashing new things to look at in Dying Light: The Beast with some Ray Tracing and other elements of the game built using some of this AI stuff. Sadly, it looks like the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S gamers will be left wanting a bit more. Let us see how this is all going to look now.
Those who have the newer NVIDIA hardware in their systems, and will be picking up Dying Light: The Beast, can take charge with all of the new bells and whistles that will be offered up. Like the Ray Tracing mentioned above, some new global illumination in the world, and the AI-powered multi-frame generation in the game. That way, you can pretend to know that you are seeing more frames per second than others out there. Just like you will see in the following video that was shared for Dying Light: The Beast, which will only be able to offer up 60 fps due to video compression, but so many will say they see the 180 to 190 fps that the game is capable of. It always boggles my mind when everyone says that they can see it, and there is no option to actually see it in these videos. At least the lighting and ray tracing look like they will add some extra visual elements into the mix.
Dying Light: The Beast — DLSS 4 & Ray Tracing Reveal
Dying Light: The Beast launches Sept. 19, featuring stunning ray tracing and AI-powered NVIDIA DLSS 4 with Multi Frame Generation to boost performance.

But you’ll need to, if you want to get your revenge on the man who did this to you.
Captured on GeForce RTX 5090 at 4K Max Settings, DLSS 4 Multi Frame Generation 4X Mode.
Are you going to be able to see all of this new Dying Light stuff in action, or are you still a gamer who lives on some of the slightly older tech still? Will any of these options make it to the consoles that can do it, or will it be stuck to the NVIDIA hardware and nothing more? When will everyone understand that the videos we are seeing do not actually have the number of frames in them, and will might only be able to see it all live when the game launches, and if you have the proper setup? Run on down to the comment section to discuss all of this and everything else out there. We are going to have more for Dying Light: The Beast, certainly, so please keep on checking in here for all of those updates and everything else that we have lined up. There is so much more out of the convention we have to share, so stay tuned.
