See How The Dinosaurs Are Being Made Within Jurassic Park: Survival

Jurassic Park: Survival — Behind The Scenes

Head back into Jurassic Park, again, with a look behind the scenes on how Jurassic Park: Survival is being made for us all

It is hard to believe that it has been almost two years since we heard that Jurassic Park: Survival was going to be a game out there, and we had next to nothing after that announcement. I know that Saber Interactive has been busy working on so many things, but it feels like such a weird tease to give us and then go completely silent on it all. Even as we have no idea when Jurassic Park: Survival is going to hit the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC at all. That is why it is great news for all of us dinosaur lovers out there, as we have a new look at the game and just how the secret sauce is being made for it. Let us all dig in and see how development is going and what other fun little tidbits we are going to get when it all wraps up. Not to mention a look at the new character we are going to play, a little of the story, and how close to the original film this one is going to be.

Since it has been so long since we heard anything for Jurassic Park: Survival, in this new title, we will be playing as Dr. Maya Joshi. An employee of the park who did not make it off when everyone evacuated, and somehow survived to the next day after the film ended. That is where we will need to pick up in this first-person stealth game as we explore the island to find our way out. All while recreating some scenes from the original Jurassic Park, and also heading to areas of the park that were mentioned but never seen in the films. Something that the development teams are working hard to make sure feels as accurate as possible by using the original props and other elements from the films to recreate it all. Especially to help recreate the look and feel of the various dinosaurs we are going to need to escape in the mix out there, too. Even if the video game versions are going to look a little bit better than expected, when compared to the originals. Not a terrible thing, but it shows how the films still do hold up, while they could have been made better if the technology was out there during it all.

How are you feeling about re-entering Jurassic Park in this way? Is it going to work well to have a story that picks up right after the events of the original film from so long ago? Are you glad to see we will get some scenes recreated, or should we have only hoped for new scenes to play out? Do you think the dinosaurs will look better in this version of the IP, even if they did look great decades ago when the first film came out? Add all of your thoughts about this down in the comment section, and then discuss them until we get the next big push for it all. I am a massive fan of the IP and will keep my eyes open for more about Jurassic Park: Survival. All of that will be added to the website and our social accounts, so please keep coming back to see all of that as it comes. I have high hopes for it all, and I have yet to be let down by the team in their film video games.
