Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II — Senua Returns To PlayStation Overview

Just ahead of Hellblade II hitting the PS5, we have a quick look at the various enhancements Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II will have

It has been a long time coming, and Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 is almost back on the PlayStation after being placed on the console exclusives list for over a year now. That makes sense given the ties that Ninja Theory has with Xbox, but a missed chance to get so much more money during the launch of the game. For those who had to hold out until Hellblade II hit the PS5 on August 12th, there is a bit of good news for your patience. There will be many more enhancements coming beyond what the Xbox Series X|S and PC crowd have already had. Here is a list of the features that this version of the game will add to the world for us all when it launches. Let us dive right in.

To start things off, obviously, this version of Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II will have all of the optimizations to make it run smoothly on the PS5 and PS5 Pro after a year of further development by the team. So, this means that it should look and flow about the same, no matter which platform you play on. In addition to the visuals and audio updates that this version will have, we are also going to see the adaptive triggers, haptic feedback, and various other controller elements added in for Hellblade II that the other platforms couldn’t handle natively. How will those be used to enhance the game for us all? Well, that will be seen very soon when we can add the game to our PS5 library and give it all a play there. I am hopeful that it somehow links into the hallucinations that Senua is suffering from in the story, as well as to help us feel some of the hits and swings she can produce in the game’s world.
