Grab your guns, and get ready to blast some undead with the launch of The House Of The Dead 2: Remake. The day is here, and the arcade classic is hitting the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC after all the extra care that Megapixel Studio put into bringing this one back to us. Along with Forever Entertainment, this rail-shooter is continuing the story of James and Gary as they aim to neutralize all of the dangerous creatures and creations coming out of The House Of The Dead. So, if you don’t have an arcade nearby or your own cabinet to replay it all, you can just download it to your chosen system and go to town today. Along with all of the fun little extras that this remake is offering up for those who want to take aim at it all.
Just in case you needed more to do in The House Of The Dead 2: Remake, we are getting a few things that we never had before, along with all of the classic things, just with a new remastered sound and modern graphics. You can see some of it below, but we will have a few extras in the game that will allow us to look at the various creatures and bosses we will fight in the game, so we can be fully prepared for them all on replays. Along with a co-op for us all to enjoy and some new branching paths that will keep the run in The House Of The Dead 2: Remake feeling fresher than the undead each time we play. Even if it does look like we have very limited options when it comes to aiming and using the guns in the fight. That can make things tricky if we have to use basic controls to do all of the aiming that a lightgun would normally be used for. Maybe that is how it will function better on the Switch, so we can use the joycons in a way that will allow for that simulation a little better.
