The release date for Toxic Crusaders is finally set, and we can be joining the Toxic Crusaders in the fight before the holiday season
So much has been going on in the whirl of SDCC, and it looks like we almost missed the announcement of when we would be able to experience what Toxic Crusaders has in store for us. There was even a little panel about all of the Troma stuff out there where Retroware had a bit of the game on display. Not much we have not already seen, but there was one little key element of it all that was tucked right in there. Like the fact that Toxic Crusaders will be hitting the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, Switch 2, and PC on December 4th of this year. A little longer for us all to wait, but that does mean we will now have two things in the Toxic Avenger line out there in the world before the end of the year.
Okay, the release date is not as close as some of us would have liked for Toxic Crusaders, but at least it will be out there before the end of the year. All so we can watch the film in theaters, get reintroduced to one of the Troma characters, then get ready to keep the fun beat-em-up going when the game lands. Even if it will only have the seven characters in the mix for us and a few friends to choose between. It does keep the cartoon’s story going, so it is worth noting that Toxic Crusaders will have the series in the mix for those who set off to pre-order the game now. A fun little extra and a lot of fun for another co-op title in the mix. Not to mention that Psychostick is doing the 40+ tracks on the soundtrack out there. Have a look and get ready for the game to finally launch later in the year. Fingers are crossed that there will not be any delays in that time now.

Have you been eagerly waiting to find out when you will be able to play Toxic Crusaders, or did it fall off your radar up to now?
