A new horror simulator, HELLMART, is on the way with HELLMART giving us a general store simulation with a dark twist
We have done the work in a pizzeria, a massive warehouse, and a mortuary, now it looks like we are heading into a general store with the announcement for HELLMART. A new horror title from GAZE In GAMES for the PC that is taking the horror twist and adding in the fun of running a general store in the middle of nowhere small town. That all sounds a little goofy at first, but then when you see what we have with the announcement for HELLMART, it gets a bit more exciting than it sounds. Like the fact that not only will we have to do the day job and face unspeakable horrors at night, but we also have to deal with something even more horrific: the general public…
So, as the game goes, it looks like HELLMART will run in three different cycles for the gameplay loop. The daytime, where we will need to manage the store, keep it clean, restock the shelves, and do the rest of the day-to-day things. Then there is the evening, when we will have to prep the store and ourselves for the oncoming onslaught. Doing this by barricading the building, watching security cameras, and keeping the lights on, to name a few things. All for the final phase of HELLMART to hit with the night. This is where all the true horrors come in as we deal with the late-night customers and make sure we do not let evil into our world out there. Why we keep the doors open after a certain hour is beyond me, but then we would not have the twisted gameplay we will have. Have a look at it all below and wishlist it over on Steam if it looks like it will tickle your fancies.

Where do you sit with what you just saw for HELLMART, and does it look like a horror sim you want to add to your library? Why are some of the customers “pleasing” themselves in the store, and why even let anyone in after the night starts? Will this all take place over a single night before our character dips out of the new town, or will there be a reason we keep on coming back to run a business that seems doomed to fail now? Creep on into the comments to discuss all of this and more. There is still more to offer up for HELLMART as the development keeps on going for it. Please keep on checking the site for all of those updates and the many others that we have to share along the way.
