The story of Game Of Thrones could be changed down the road with the announcement of Game Of Thrones: War For Westeros
The world of Westeros is opening back up again with the announcement that is here for Game Of Thrones: War For Westeros. A new real-time strategy game that PlaySide Studios is working on for the PC. A game that will give us all of the war fun and intrigue that is at the core of Game Of Thrones, but with a bit of a twist on it all. The twist is that we will be able to rewrite the story based on our gameplay, too. Something that even the main author does not seem to be able to do out there. All the shade aside, though, let us have a look at what else we have to know in the early stages of the announcement and reveal for this new title. One that still will not be fully dropping out there until 2026 at the earliest as of right now.
Okay, so there is not much we have to offer up beyond the above for Game Of Thrones: War For Westeros at this point. There is a fun cinematic video to look at that shows off the tone and feel of the game. That and the fact that we can choose to play as the Knight King if we so choose that, and maybe some of the other Houses that may not be on top of things in the main story of it all. That is how I am guessing that we are going to not just be replaying the story we have lived through many times over. That would be a bit of an issue if we did just follow the story of Game Of Thrones from start to end one more time. Have a look and see, as we all wait to see actual gameplay out there. Some that also feel like it is going to flow like many other RTS titles have, just with the skin of this IP that has been licensed out there for us all.
