Meet the next crew member for Directive 8020 and learn a bit more of the stakes at hand in the mix of Directive 8020
The commander is on deck for Directive 8020, as we meet the next member of the crew that we will be taking the dark journey with out there. All part of the on-going series of videos that Supermassive Games is pumping out there so we can understand the characters in the game and hope for them not to be the one that meets a grizzly end out there. If we like the characters, it makes it much harder of a hit when or if they do fall prey to some horror out there. Which is something that Directive 8020 is going to want to capitalize on when it hits the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on October 2nd this year. That said, let us meet Nolan Stafford now.
As one would assume for the commander of the ship, Nolan feels like a very direct and rigid personality in Directive 8020. Not a bad thing, but it does feel like that will be where some heads might be able to butt in the dialog of the game. Nolan is set on making sure the mission is successful, not only because of duty but also because failure means the end of the human race as it is. Some high stakes to have for a mission, but Directive 8020 is part of The Dark Pictures series, so it was going to be a given. Thankfully, it looks like Nolan might be transhuman or something not human at all in the game, which could be a massive boon to it all when things get heated. Have a look at Nolan and see if you are going to be following orders.
Directive 8020 — Meet The Crew: Nolan Stafford
“If this mission fails, it could spell the end for the human race.”
A veteran explorer and the first man on Mars, Commander Stafford now leads Corinth’s mission with the same determination that defined his career.
For him, this is more than a mission – it’s a legacy.
A legacy that is in your hands…
How do you feel about the commander we are getting in Directive 8020 and does Nolan feel a little too robotic for you in the mix? Will we get to use some enhancements in the game to help or hinder choices or is it all just a way to show how far in the future all of this is? Will there be many choices made that will follow or disobey the orders Nolan is giving? Let us have those thoughts on all of this down in the comment section and then feel free to keep the discussion flowing until the next crew member comes out. We will have all of the updates for Directive 8020 as they come, so please keep on checking in here so you do not miss out on a single one out there.
