A new horror title, Video Ghastlies, is teased for us all with these new Video Ghastlies dropping new tapes into the world that are just too dangerous
The ’90s found footage style of game is coming at us all once again with the tease we have for the upcoming Video Ghastlies. A new title that is on the way to the PC, at some date, from Katanalevy and Oro Interactive that will be placing us back in that era and watching some banned footage from the past. All with that fun VHW format to things and some various other gameplay elements to make sure Video Ghastlies breaks the flow up just a bit. As if mixing up various horror genres in the mix of the game was not going to do all of that already. That all said, let us dig further into what all of these tapes are going to hold for us when it all comes to air out there in the world. Whenever that all might be.
So, in addition to being set in the ’90s, Video Ghastlies is also set in Scotland, where our brother has gone missing and we are on the hunt to find him. To do so, we have to watch through all of these various VHS tapes for clues to help puzzle things together. We might also have to go into some of these live-action videos to take some action with weapons and gear based along the style of the tape we are watching. Almost as if we were playing the V/H/S/ films and then became some of the subjects in those films. That is how I am taking in what we have here for Video Ghastlies and it sounds like it could be one wild ride for us all to take. Along with all of the classic horror and survival gameplay that we normally get in these kinds of games. This is just a teaser for what is to come, so take all of that in and know it could change by the end of the cycle we are going to have to keep on waiting through.
