Deadly Quiet Puts Us All In The Heat Of Things With New Gameplay

Deadly Quiet — Gameplay

The first bit of gameplay for Deadly Quiet is out there now to get us ready for when we will get to experience Deadly Quiet soon

The Wendigo is coming for us all in some new gameplay that we have to show off for Deadly Quiet. This would be that little title that is on the way from indie developers Tarba Paul Cornel and Abdul Rafy, with Galactic Crows publishing it out there for the PC. We have had a little bit of it before, as it is another of the many bodycam horror titles that are in the works out there. Deadly Quiet is also another of the asymmetrical horror titles that we will be able to head out into as well. Which means it is time to look at how some of the gameplay looks and how the mechanics will flow into this horror setting. Especially as it sounds like one of them will be designed to troll all of the players in the game as matches carry on forward.

The following gameplay for Deadly Quiet does feel a bit unpolished in its current form, but it still looks like it is accomplishing what it is setting out to do in the game space. That being placing four players into a mysterious world where we are all being hunted by a Wendigo. A Wendigo that we can either choose to help or hinder on our own. By setting traps or using various other weapons in the game to do all of this. Much like any other asymmetric title. The weird part is that we are urged to stay quiet in Deadly Quiet, but also encouraged to “troll” our friends if we die. That last bit being the harder thing to see there being any longevity to the game once things are opened up online. The hero characters are tasked with escaping the area through various means, but how can that be done if one player dies and is just constantly making noise or causing issues for the party out of a form of boredom? Maybe I am being too cynical on all of this, but you can see the gameplay flowing just a bit lower on the page and make up your mind about it.

Deadly Quiet — Gameplay

Indie developers Tarba Paul Cornel and Abdul Rafy are proud to reveal the first gameplay footage of Deadly Quiet, a co-op asymmetrical horror game that will have you questioning your friendships. Deadly Quiet offers a unique experience with a bodycam perspective, immersing players in a tense, first-person survival scenario where every decision can lead to life or death.

In Deadly Quiet, players must rely on teamwork to survive the terrifying horrors lurking within the forest. However, there’s a twist — STAY QUIET. The slightest noise could mean certain death, adding an extra layer of suspense to the already heart-pounding gameplay. Communication, while essential, becomes a dangerous double-edged sword.

Key features Of Deadly Quiet Include:

  • 4-Player Co-Op: Team up with friends to face the horrors together in a dynamic multiplayer experience.
  • Proximity Voice Chat: Communication is key, but be mindful of how much noise you make—too much noise could doom the entire team.
  • Ultra Trolling: Even if you die, you’re not out of the game. Continue to mess with your friends and the enemies in a chaotic, fun twist on the horror genre.
  • Multiple Ways To Interact With The Wendigo: Whether you choose to side with the Wendigo, help your friends, or take matters into your own hands with tactics like electrocution, burning, or crucifixion, the choices are yours.
  • Traps & Strategy: Set traps, call the police, or escape by car. The game offers numerous ways to outsmart the enemies and survive.

Will the trolling aspect of Deadly Quiet be too much for players or will that be the best selling point for the game in the end? Will it only allow for invited players to join or will you have to bite the bullet and allow random humans to join if you cannot get a full roster? Will there be an option to mute others for being too obnoxious or will that be something that is a downfall to the game based on human behavior? Sound off in the comment section and let the world hear those thoughts on all of this. We are certainly going to have a whole lot more for Deadly Quiet as it launches out there for players to enjoy. Please keep on checking in here for all of those updates and the various others that we will have along the way in the run of things.
