Get ready to stop the forces of Oblivion once more with the reveal & release for The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered
There were a few rumors and “leaks” out there and it looks as if it was all true, we have The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered out there now. I do mean out there now, with Virtuos and Bethesda getting this whole thing packaged up, announced, and released all today. Also, for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, for those who want to head back into the world out there and face off with the various evil forces of Oblivion once more. It has been a little while since we had that experience, and it is not just another port of Skyrim, so that is a win all around. Not to mention all of the little extra things that have been added to it all to make sure we are extra hyped to experience what this game has to offer us. Let us all have a look now or just snag the game now that you know it is out there.
This version of the game is all going to be starting from the base of The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion 2006 Game of the Year version when it comes to the content placed in it. From there, the usual 4K and 60 frames per second upgrades are there to keep us further glued to our screens and see how they have advanced. It also looks like many of the models and textures have been given that extra level of polish that we should expect in these things so it is a bit more than many other remasters we have had. Along with all of that, this version of Oblivion will also have all of those other quality of life and other changes in the mix that will help us in combat, leveling up our characters, and all of the other elements that make this such a rich world for us to explore. Have a look at some of that in motion, just a little lower down or just head out and buy the game once again to play it and keep playing it until the next full title in the line actually comes out. If that ever happens…
