Have one more look at the DOOM Slayer as they rock out some new gameplay for DOOM: The Dark Ages fresh from WrestleMania 41
One of the biggest spectacles in entertainment went down over the weekend with WrestleMania 41 and during all of that, we also had some other big splashes with DOOM: The Dark Ages. More to the point, we were given a solid look at the world and Slayer that id Software is going to be sending our way on May 15th for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A solid little piggyback with all that was going on, but for those looking more into the video games, it offers up so many more things in the game’s engine to look at. Along with some fun new demons our DOOM Slayer will have to bring down when we add in all of the medieval weapons and armor with all of the Sci-Fi weapons that the IP is known for too. Let us just right in and get with the ripping and the tearing…
It is a little hard to tell what is fully going on in the world of DOOM from this new trailer, but there is a solid showing of all of the action we are going to be going through in the game. At least beyond the fact that the Slayer is being summoned back in to take down some higher-level demons out there doing all of those terrible demon things. Potentially even calling in some other form of evil with a few of the creatures feeling pulled right from the Cthulhu mythologies in the mix of it all too. Not something completely foreign to the DOOM IP, but it does deviate a little from the core of it all. That could just be my take and preferences for the IP and mileage may vary for everyone else out there who is playing the games. Nonetheless, have a look at the explosive video below and get hyped up for some massive new entertainment coming our way very soon.

Did you think that there was going to be some crossover from DOOM and the WWE with how this all was presented or just figured it was a perfect time to promote the game? Are we getting some of the Lovecraft monsters in the mix now or is that just a solid art choice from the art team for another of the demons we will be slaying?
