The release date for the second season of Twisted Metal is finally set with the Twisted Metal kicking off by the end of July
The second season for Twisted Metal will be riding up on us sooner than some might have thought and this Summer is going to be an explosive one. If you have not had a chance to see season one of the show, it is currently streaming on Peacock for you to enjoy. You will want to hop on that as soon as possible so you can be sure to be up to speed by July 31st. That is the date that season two of Twisted Metal will be kicking off on the platform as well. With a few other fun surprises coming up for it before then, too. I mean, we will have SDCC happening just days before the launch, so there is most likely going to be something just as massive as there was for season one out of all of that.
While all of that is exciting, there is not much else to look at for Twisted Metal to get us further excited for the show. Again, most likely to save some of that fun for the big pop culture convention that will happen days before the episodes drop. That is not to say we do not have something, as you can see a new and short clip of it all to introduce Calypso into the world of Twisted Metal a bit more and give us some fun with the characters we have already grown to love from the first season. Love or hate, depending on your feelings toward them. Sadly, there is not much in the way for any of the new characters that will be part of the tournament we are going to finally be getting in this new season. Have a look and imagine how all of that is going to play out just as July comes to an end for us out here.
Twisted Metal — Season 2 Date Announcement
New Season of Twisted Metal is streaming July 31 on Peacock, plus catch up on Season 1 streaming now.
Following the revelations in the season one finale, John and Quiet find themselves entering the deadly Twisted Metal tournament, a sinister demolition derby hosted by a mysterious man known as Calypso. As they try to survive an onslaught of dangerous new foes and familiar faces alike, including the murderous clown Sweet Tooth, things get complicated for John when he reunites with his long-lost sister, the vigilante Dollface.
Is it any surprise to you that Twisted Metal will be hitting the second season right after this pop culture event or did you think it would be spaced out from other major things that are happening around the same time? Will we get more of the character growth in the story, or will this truly be all about the tournament and not much else? Will we see someone other than John win the tournament, and will it have the same outcome as we have seen in the games from the past? Take a ride down to the comment section to fire off all of those thoughts for the show. We are going to try to cover more for Twisted Metal as it all comes out there, so please keep on checking in for all of that and everything else that we can offer up as your rewards.
