Mario Kart World — Game Overview

Drive on into the latest for Mario Kart World as we see how this Mario Kart title will offer up so much more for the IP than before

Even though many of us are still trying to figure out how to get a Nintendo Switch 2 before the June 5th launch, we still have some great looks at the upcoming Mario Kart World that will be launching alongside the console when it does come. As the title indicates, it is the next and latest version of the racing IP that we are going to have. Not just in visuals but with many new and old features for the Mario Kart line coming right back in to keep us all entertained. Us and up to 23 extra friends if we so choose to race against that many when the game comes. A massive leap ahead from where the current state of the game is. But, that is not the only big and fun update to the IP, and we are about to dive further into the full gameplay overview for it all right now…

As if having all of the extra racers on the map in Mario Kart World was not enough, we are also getting a whole lot of new characters, costumes, and tracks to race each other with in the game. Across the usual modes, along with some fun new Free Roaming out there in the world that will allow us to drive from track to track instead of just loading up into a race. A solid new option for the game so we can test out many of the new tricks that are available as well as timing on the various new items that we will be able to pick up during the core races too. There are too many to just list out and it is much more fun to see them in motion, which can be done in the following video for Mario Kart World. Even if it does make it seem like the GameChat, Photo Mode, and camera systems for the game were a bit of a secondary thought once the game was being developed. No matter the case, there is a lot more going on in this version of the game and we will be driving around the world just a bit more than we could have expected.
