Go behind the scenes a bit for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 with a look at the various voices that will be bringing Expedition 33 fully to life
If you have been following along with us and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 up to now, then you will most likely know that the game is going to have one massive voice cast helping to bring the game to life. Voices like Charlie Cox and Andy Serkis to drop a few that Sandfall Interactive have on the way to the game and keep us entertained. Along with them, we are getting various other voice actors and now we get to hear how all of that is going to come to life a little before Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 launches on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on April 24th. Maybe there is a little bit of gameplay sprinkled in too, but the main focus we are leaning into today will be how they are going to bring this story fully to life and pull us all deeply into the narrative.
Sadly, the bigger names you might be looking for are not featured in this behind-the-scenes for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. It is what it is, but we also know that they can deliver when they need to, so we can now focus on the other voice cast that we have here. All as we see how they brought some of the characters to life and a few things that helped to inform them of how the characters should be. This would be all of the characters we have been introduced to already via all of the other videos we have had for the game up to now. All in all, it sounds like we are going to have one fun ride with them all, but Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is not really looking to add anything different to the craft that we have not had already. Not a terrible thing, but this is going to be an update for the few nerds out there who like seeing how their games are made and not so much for those who are looking to see many of the voices and faces they might already know well. At least there is a bit of extra gameplay added into the mix of it all.

With a cast that also includes Charlie Cox (Marvel Television’s Daredevil: Born Again), Andy Serkis (The Lord of the Rings), Devora Wilde (Baldur’s Gate III), Tracy Wiles (Baldur’s Gate III), and a beautifully crafted French-language dub, their voices help tell the story of a world on the brink of total destruction.

Are you ready for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 to just drop already or are you having fun with these little updates? Were you expecting something vastly different for the voice recording or is it just fun seeing the cast have a fun time with the work they are doing? Will all of that come through perfectly into the game or will that also be dependent on the narrative and how it is all edited together after they are done saying the same word many times over? Share your thoughts and your voice about all of this down in the comments and then feel free to discuss it all as much as you would like. If we have more to share out there for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, we will share it all here and on our channels.
