The Weapons Are Getting Experimental Here For The Upcoming Mouse: P.I. For Hire

Our Mouse detective will be using so many new & experimental weapons during our run of Mouse: P.I. For Hire

There is always a fun thing developers can do when it comes to the weapons in shooter titles, and it looks like Mouse: P.I. For Hire is going to be the next in the line to have some of those experiments to happen with it. That or Fumi Games is going to give us some fun ways to kill all of the cartoony enemies in the world they are building, while keeping things feeling fully in the universe that it is set in. All of that makes it sounds as if we need to speculate on all of that further, but with the latest update we have for Mouse: P.I. For Hire, we get a solid look at the experimental weapons that we will be able to employ when the game lands on the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC later this year. Hoping that is not too late out there.

Here we get to see three new weapons on display for our Mouse detective to use while heading out into the world we are set in. One being a freeze gun that will ice up all of the enemies. The next a shotgun of sorts that blasts out turpentine on the enemies to do to them what “The Dip” did to toons in Who Framed Roger Rabbit? Then the final one that sounds like it would be a point-of-view kind of gun, but given that it is experimental, it looks like it explodes heads more than making others feel like our lead Mouse. I was also thinking it could be one that forces the enemies to fight for you, but the video we have just a bit lower shows you that it only knows how to do one thing. Maybe that will change before the game fully launches, but for now, it adds some extra cartoon fun and ways to help them all end up with all of their living. That will teach them to try to steal all of the cheese out there in the world…
