Another level in the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has been shown off and now we can see how a classic from Crash Bandicoot 2 has been restored for this bundle
Here we go with some new gameplay footage for the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy here so we can have a look at how Vicarious Visions has updated the classic titles to look and feel new on the PS4 here. This time around we have a level that you may or may not remember from Crash Bandicoot 2 titles “Hang Eight.” It’s been some time so don’t feel horrible if you don’t remember the level in detail or even what it entailed. That is what this new gameplay video is for so you can have said nostalgia as well as see if the upgrade is going to be worth picking up this whole bundle from Activision on June 30th here. I’m sure the nostalgic fans have already looked into pre-ordering for sure.
In the following gameplay footage, as I said, we see the level from Crash Bandicoot 2 played in what looks like a speed run and then again in terms of a collector’s run. It looks like the level is still completely intact here but as you can see it will offer up all the same little hidden elements as well as some sharp new looks at the basic game from so long ago. All in all it looks just as the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy has proclaimed and that is that we are getting the same old games but rebuilt with the newer technology and that should make them all the more fun and memorable right? Have a look and judge for yourself though.
Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy — Hang Eight
The level, called Hang Eight, was originally in Crash Bandicoot 2 and is now fully remastered in Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy.
Like I said, it looks like this level just had some upgrades to look a lot nicer but more or less is still the same Crash Bandicoot we know and love from before. I have a feeling this is how it is going to be all the way around but hopefully this could lead to Vicarious Visions or another developer to be able to take on the Crash Bandicoot franchise and deliver much more than just an HD rebuild and remaster. Hopefully to the level of the recent Ratchet & Clank but that could still be far off for now. Only time and our money will tell I guess.
How do you like the look of this level for the upcoming Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy here? Does it fill you will all the nostalgia that the remaking is looking to capitalize on or has it been so long that you’ve had lapses in memory and it looks completely new? Do you think like I do and hope this brings about a completely new game and not just more HD remasters here? Let us know down in the comments and then discuss. Hopefully we’ll see more of these levels for the Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy here soon and when we do, we will bring them right to you. You know where to hang out, right here, so you don’t miss out on a single tasty morsel of knowledge.
