Head into the world of Chernobylite 2 with the prologue of Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone out and ready for us all to experience
We are getting so many demos out of the Steam Next Fest, but here we go with something a bit different for Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone. Not a true demo, but those looking to play the game right now can dig into what The Farm 51 has dropped out there with the game’s prologue. A few hours of the experience that we will have for the game. All in a nice way to build us into the full Early Access for Chernobylite 2 on March 6th. Yes, we will have this, and then we only have to wait slightly longer to see how the game will function on the PC. Also, presumably, the PS5 and Xbox Serie X|S will be out there when we are in the final stages of the game’s development out there. Let us take a look now.
Those looking to give Chernobylite 2 a bit of a play now will be in store for a one to two-hour experience that digs into the story of the game and sets everything up for the Early Access. A very distinct thing that the team wanted to make sure we knew, as this is still technically a demo version of the game but with the offer that the story will carry onward when the Early Access starts up. I am also guessing that this will also be more of the tutorial missions for Chernobylite 2, as we will get to see some of the base gameplay elements and features in the prologue. I say this as this portion of the game will be a smaller segment of the grander world we will get to explore for now. Again, cramming all of the basics for us to experience, get us hooked into, so then we can hop into the Early Access and play along as the game is further built out into the final form we are hoping it will become.
Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone — Steam Next Fest Story
Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone is going to Steam Early Access on March 6th, 2025!
There’s no reason to wait to play Chernobylite 2 anymore. Today, along with Steam Next Fest, The Farm 51 is giving you access to the game’s demo version. It is the Prologue of the Chernobylite 2, which will take you at least 1-2 hours to complete, depending on how many different gameplay mechanics you would like to try and how much you’re into exploring the Zone. The demo lets you begin the open-world exploration. However (because it’s a prologue, not because it’s a demo), it’s a much smaller area compared to the Early Access version that will be launched on March 6th.
Within the prologue of Chernobylite 2, you’ll be able to get to know the first chapter of Cole Grey’s story, join the Planewalker program, select your class among 6 available options, train your fighting abilities on the Prypyat’s Lenin Square, fly the interdimensional vessel and explore the alternative world in search of Chernobylite. Ultimately, visit the Chornobyl Zone and build your shelter here under the guidance of a mysterious but well-known Black Stalker. And in the meantime, your combat and survival skills will be tested a lot. You need to prove you’re worthy of being a Planewalker!
Have you made the jump into the prologue of Chernobylite 2 yet, or are you just going to wait the extra week until you can hop into the full Early Access? How close to the end of the cycle is the game already, and will this mean we have a shorter window for the Early Access? Is there going to be a way for the console games to get this experience, or will it force many to have to give the game a go on their PC if they want to experience anything beyond the videos we have to share? Head on down to the comment section to discuss all of that and everything else we have to offer out there in the world. We are going to have all that we can for Chernobylite 2: Exclusion Zone, so do keep on coming back here to see and hear about all of that. It does feel like the game is closer to the end of the build cycle based on what we can see here, so maybe this is going to have a lot more to share in rapid-fire very soon.
