A new look at Total Chaos is here to show off the gameplay and let us all know that there is a demo currently out for Total Chaos
The mix of things is still fully underway for the Steam Next Fest and now we have Total Chaos up on the block to look at. Not only in a new gameplay trailer but those interested in seeing what Trigger Happy Interactive and Apogee Entertainment are cooking up can give the game a play via a new demo for the game. We are leading with that, as the demo for Total Chaos is only going to be available for now until March 3rd. So, if the rest of this catches your interest, you might want to head out and pick up the demo on your PC as soon as you see the horrors that you might get to walk around out there if you are brave enough. Let us all dive right in.
To get you worked up to want to play Total Chaos, this is a new survival horror title that is going to take us even further into some new madness out there. Thankfully, it is not just a walking simulation version of all of that as we will need to fight back against the nightmares we are seeing. Sometimes they might be real and others not so much. All as we explore the area of Fort Oasis and try not to fall further into the madness it is all going to be giving us. Along with all of that in Total Chaos, it sounds like we will also need to make sure we are properly fed in the game, our vitals are in top working order, and we tend to any wounds we might pick up along the way. Seeing as the enemies in the game can use our own tactics back at us, like throwing random items on the map, this looks like it is going to just add even more to the fear we are all going to feel out there.
Total Chaos — Demo
The nightmare begins. Total Chaos, a brutal survival horror experience from Trigger Happy Interactive (creator of Turbo Overkill) and Apogee Entertainment, has unleashed its free demo for Steam Next Fest. Get your first taste of the terror that awaits—explore the decaying ruins of Fort Oasis, scavenge to survive, and descend into madness.
A Lost Island. A Desperate Fight for Survival. A Descent into Madness.
Shipwrecked and wounded, players assume the role of Tyler Scott, a Coast Guardsman washed up on the shores of Fort Oasis, a long-abandoned mining colony consumed by decay and an eerie, inescapable presence. A lone voice crackles through a walkie-talkie, beckoning him deeper into the island’s rotting ruins. But as hallucinations grow stronger and reality bends, the question lingers… is something watching, or is the horror all in his mind?
Survival at Any Cost:
- 🩸 Scavenge To Survive – Search the ruins for scrap and supplies to craft makeshift weapons. Axes, hammers, and whatever else can be scavenged are the only defensive options. Firearms are rare, and every bullet is precious.
- 🩸 A Living Nightmare – As Madness takes hold, the world itself begins to change. Hidden passageways emerge, walls shift, and the line between hallucination and reality begins to blur.
- 🩸 True Survival Horror – Monitor your vitals, fight off hunger, and tend to bleeding wounds. But survival isn’t just physical—Tyler’s mind may betray him before the island does.
Play the demo now and see if you can escape the island’s grip… before it’s too late.
Are you going to be giving Total Chaos a try now that you have seen some of it in the works or does it look like it might be too intense for you to handle? Will the hallucinations in the game be linked to any of our vitals or all run as scripted events in the game? Do you enjoy it when the game AI can use our own tactics against us or do you like the basic robots that wander about so you can learn their patterns? Sneak on into the comment section below to discuss all of this and everything else we have for the game out there. Total Chaos is fully on our radar now and we are going to look into diving further into it all. Maybe even solve some of those weird mysteries in the mix. All you have to do is keep on checking in here for all of those updates and the many others we are going to have along the way.
