History Is Getting Ready To Be Changed Out There In WWE 2K25

WWE 2K25 — The Bloodline’s Dynasty

A new interactive WWE documentary is on the way to us all when we get the full release of WWE 2K25 out there

It looks like we might be able to change some history out there when WWE 2K25 hits the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this March 14th. Not in a way that would be detrimental as we have seen in other ways this goes on in the world, but in a new interactive documentary that Visual Concepts is dropping into the game for us all to experience. A mode that will allow us to see some of the great matches from the past of the WWE and give a different twist to how they played out or who even was part of it all. A fun little thing to see so we can all play “What If?” on our own when not going through the normal run of the game or playing with any friends we actually might have out there.

This new mode will be narrated by “The Wise Man” Paul Heyman and will allow us to go through many of the past matches you may or may not have seen in the WWE over the years. Some, sadly, look like they will only allow us to relive the history as we go through the narrative, but then we have a long list of others we can truly change the outcomes of. There is even an option to bring in matches that never ended up happening between the various WWE Superstars and teams that are all over the franchise. Below, you can have a small look at a few of the iconic ones that are going to be in the game and then have a look at a longer list. One that does seem like it can be added to as the game carries forward in its lifecycle, so we might be able to change things up in the virtual industry as much as we want. That would be the hope before we move on to the next year’s version of the game.

WWE 2K25 — The Bloodline’s Dynasty

Let’s change history ☝️

For the first time, WWE 2K25 brings you an immersive, interactive documentary about The Bloodline hosted by The Wiseman Paul Heyman.🩸

Narrated by “The Wise Man” Paul Heyman, the trailer introduces the first-ever interactive documentary of The Bloodline and their extended family. 2K Showcase: The Bloodline’s Dynasty allows players to experience some of the biggest moments in the careers of one of the most iconic wrestling dynasties, made up of WWE Superstars and Legends including Roman Reigns, The Rock, Yokozuna, “High Chief” Peter Maivia, the Wild Samoans, and more.

Players are invited to Relive History through iconic moments including Yokozuna vs. Hulk Hogan at King of the Ring ‘93, and Rocky Maivia vs. Hunter Hearst Helmsley at RAW in ‘97. Heyman continues by introducing a twist: Players will have the chance to Change History and bring more glory to The Bloodline, avenging key losses such as Rikishi vs. “Stone Cold” Steve Austin at No Mercy 2000, and the fateful Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins title match at Royal Rumble 2022. The trailer concludes by offering a glimpse at dream matches introduced in this year’s 2K Showcase, giving players the opportunity to Create History and experience some of the greatest fantasy matches that never were.

Returning for WWE 2K25 in response to community demand, all Showcase cutscenes now feature in-game cinematics footage, rather than historical live-action footage.

Will you be trying to relive the matches of the past of the WWE or will you focus more on the ones that you never had a chance to see play out? Will any of the changes made shift things in the narrative at all or will it only be basic things or for our own memories instead? Would it be nice to have one definitive version of the game every few years with match and character additions coming instead of a new title each year? Wrestle with all of those new thoughts down in the comments and then discuss it all until we can fire up the game. We will offer all that we can for WWE 2K25 as we get anything. Please keep on checking in for all of those updates and the many others we have coming to the site in the coming months.
